Wearing your cuff. Put it on. Slip the open back of the cuff over the narrowest part of your wrist and rotate it into place. Wear it on whichever wrist feels most natural. Shape it to fit. The cuff is gently adjustable. To fit it more closely, ease the opening a little narrower with light, even pressure using both hands; to loosen it, do the reverse. Adjust gradually and sparingly — copper is a soft metal, and repeated bending will tire it.

A note on personal energy. Over time, the energy held within your cuff gently attunes to your own. For that reason, we recommend keeping it as a personal piece rather than passing it back and forth with others.

• Clean often. Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth after wear to remove sweat and oils. Periodically wash with mild soap and warm water but avoid using chemical cleaners or soaking the bracelet. Keep it dry between wearings.
• Restore shine. Polish gently with a copper cloth, a little lemon juice, or a vinegar solution, then rinse and dry.
• Store properly. Store in a sealed bag or jewelry box in a dry place. Keep away from humidity to slow tarnishing.

Light contact is fine, but we recommend taking the cuff off for showering, swimming, and especially chlorine or saltwater, then drying it if it does get wet. Q. What's the difference between the brushed and polished cuffs?

Only the finish and the fit.
